We are a non-profit organization. Our motto is to create fascination and admiration amongst people for Wildlife and Nature through the medium of Photography. We take sincere efforts so that people of all ages start gaining interest in photography and learn basics. As you learn, we would publish photo contests and assignments to elaborate your skills. We would also love to host field trips in parks and refuges, where people can learn more about different bird, reptile and mammal species.

Photo Assignment - Silhouette


A silhouette is the image of a person, an object or scene consisting of the outline and a featureless interior, with the silhouetted object usually being black. Here is an example of Silhouette clicked by me:

Following are the rules:
  1. The photo should be clicked between 16th June 2011 and 1st August 2011.
  2. Submissions will be closed by midnight of 1st August 2011.
  3. Only one entry is allowed per person.
  4. Photo should not be more than 5MB in size.
  5. E-mail your photo to: falconphotoscreations@gmail.com
  6. Please provide the following details in your e-mail:
- Name and e-mail address of the Photographer.
- Approximate time when photo was taken.
- Date when Photo was taken.
- Place where photo was taken.
- Details of the Camera and/or lens being used.
- Mention technical details (Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO)

Remember you don't need to have a Digital SLR camera to enter the competition. As long as the photo is taken skillfully, you should be OK. Also, Please e-mail at falconphotoscreations@gmail.com if you have any questions.

The judging of the photos will begin by 1st August 2011 and the winners will be announced on 10th August 2011. The name and photo of all winners will be published on our blog.
